The Farnborough International Airshow is located south-west of London and is served by strong national and international travel links.

Travel to Farnborough in as little as 35 minutes by train from London Waterloo or access the venue by car from the M3. For those travelling by air, Heathrow is only 30 minutes away and Gatwick is only 50 minutes by car. Farnborough Airport, adjacent to the venue, is one of Europe’s leading business airports for private flights from around the world.

 

By Road

Should you decide to travel by car, the Farnborough International Airshow is located just off the M3 (J4) and A31. We advise that you turn off your sat-nav devices when you can see the yellow AA signs or VMS (electronic signage) for "Air Show", and follow them.

Car Parks

Free car parking is available at Queens Parade with a free shuttle bus service to the show site. Please follow the yellow AA road signs marked with a blue "P", or VMS (electronic) signage.

Blue badge holders can park on site for free in Car Park 6 with a free service into the show site offered by Community First, please follow the blue badge AA signage which will direct you to Gate F.

From Queens Parade, you then have 3 options:

Shuttle bus to main entrance: Gate B

A shuttle bus will drop you off at the main entrance where you will be dropped off at Gate B and go through security*.

Shuttle bus to Hall 4

At Queens Parade, you will go through a security search* and then be dropped off at Hall 4 (by car park 8).

Walking from Queens Parade to Gate B

You can walk from Queens Parade if you do not want to get on the shuttle bus. It is approximately a 15-20 minute walk to Gate B.

*Please note that we have airport style security and random bag searches. ID must be carried on you at all times.

Taxi

There is a taxi rank located in RAE Road, adjacent to GATE A for drop-off and pick up. Only local Rushmoor Borough Council licensed taxis that have the appropriate show label can operate in this area.

Pre-booked private hire vehicles (with a label) from the following local companies can also pick up and drop off from this location.

If you get a taxi that is not from the above list, the driver will be directed to park at Queens Parade where you can use the free shuttle bus to get to the show site.

 

By Rail

Farnborough International Airshow is within easy reach of three stations: Farnborough Main, North Camp and Aldershot.

Farnborough Main is served by South Western Railway and is the quickest station to get to from London Waterloo. To travel to the airshow from Gatwick Airport, Reading or Guildford, take the Great Western Railway service to North Camp station.

Shuttle bus services run continuously throughout the opening hours of the exhibition between the 21 and 26 July to and from the locations below.

By Air
