Michael Cervenka is the Chief Commercial & Technology Officer of Vertical Aerospace. Mr. Cervenka is a Chartered Engineer, a felloe of the Royal Aeronautical Society and Member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers. 

Speaker - David Shilliday

David Shilliday currently serves as the VP and General Manager of the Unmanned Aerial Systems and Urban Air Mobility unit at Honeywell Aerospace Technologies. David oversees the development of new products and functions as a systems integrator for airframe manufacturers and operators in the rapidly evolving UAS market. 

The discussion will focus on the technical and ecosystem challenges of building an eVTOL from scratch and breaking into a legacy industry. It will include the opportunities and lessons from combining the innovation and mindset of a start up with decades of learnt experience and expertise of aerospace customers, suppliers, and regulators, and how the likes of Vertical and Honeywell are bringing these two worlds together in the UK.
